Badge reels are a fun and effective way to store your identification card. Do not confuse a badge reel with a fishing reel. A badge reel is a protective case that is used to protect your identification cards. They are normally attached to your belt but can be attached on other area's of your body. Like a fishing reel they do have a retraction device. However you will not fish with a badge reel. A badge reel has a cord. Connected to the end of the cord will be the identification card. So, when you need your identification card you will simply give your card a tug and pull it right out of the holder where it will be able to extend up to 30 inches. When you are finished with your card all you have to do is let it go and it will retract right back into the case. There are quite a few companies out there that utilize a security card scanning system. For security purposes you have to scan your identification card upon entering restricted areas. This is a very effective security process when administered properly. The badge reel system is excellent for this type of scanning procedure especially if you want the line to move steady and sweet. If someone is using a lanyard or a pin attached badge holder they would have to remove it in order to scan it. This can hold up a line. Holding up a line, eventually holds up production. Production is money in most business operations. With a badge reel scanning your card is a cinch. All you have to do is pull it out and swipe it and allow it to return back into the case. Just that simple and you are scanned and ready to get to work. The badge reel is one of those badge holders that are also highly sought after if you are going to utilize them in an area where a lanyard could get caught in the machines. You can get these badge reels in a few different designs. You can get that lightweight economy version for use in light duty areas. You can also get the large heavy-duty design, which is better for the areas where your badge reel could take a beating. Either way, these badge reels are very durable and built to last. You can get these in swivel designs that will allow them to roll with your body flow. If you want your employees to have a little style you can get these in chrome and translucent designs. A badge reel can also be customized to promote your company or organization. You can have a logo put on it and really make it look great. The badge reel really is convenient to use. Your identification card is always right there when you need it and never in your way while you try to work. The bottom line is that the badge reel is the real deal.
